'DKTE' Industrial Automation Advanced Workshop at BOSCH LAB

Mechanical Dept. conducted 'Workshops on Industrial Automation' for 'DKTE' TE Mechanical students on 5th May 2016 to 7th May 2016(Batch I) and 9th May 2016 to 11th May 2016(Batch II). 50 students from TE Mech and BE Mech were enrolled for "Advanced Course on Mechatronics and PLC".

The Advanced course consisted of Basic concepts of PLC, Sensors, Signal Conditioning, Electro-pneumatics and Mechatronics. The workshop had lecture sessions and effective hands-on sessions along with a mini project conducted by faculty members of Mechanical department. Such workshops would help students to get well acquainted with new concepts and technologies used in industries and also carry out their project work in a better fashion.

Prof. Dr. V. R. Naik, HOD of Mechanical Department, Prof. S. A. Soundattikar, Prof. B. B. Kabnure, Prof. S. M. Karmuse, Prof. S. R Prasad and Prof. A. V. Sutar delivered expert lectures during the workshop. Prof. S. A. Soundattikar, Prof. M. A. Bote, Prof. V. R. Balwan and Prof. U. S. Bongarde co-ordinated the workshop.

Mr. K.B. Awade is the Chairman of this society, Mr. R.N. Kulkarni is the Vice-Chairman , Mr. R.V. Ketkar is the Treasurer and Dr. Mrs. S.U. Awade is the Hon. Secretary.
