It is important that students gain knowledge through practical exposure by actually visiting different places. Believing the same, Doon University recently took it's students to Rajasthan.
Their students participated in a National Conference on "Indian Economy-Roadmap towards development" in collaboration with NIIT Avog. The conference was inaugurated by Mr. B.L.Joshi, former governor of Uttar Pradesh. He talked about the nuances of Indian economy its journey over the years and challenges he faced as a policy maker. The speaker was professor Dholakia who talked about the performances, challenges and prospects of Indian economy.
Then the students visited Jaisalmer fort, Jodhpur fort, and Umaid Bhawan Palace.The students were told that how Umaid palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine.
It was a great exposure for the students to be acquainted how regions have different importance and how the regions have different means of employment generation. Also, how the demographic status differs from their native state.
Doon University does every possible thing for the students from theory to practical knowledge there is nothing that is left out and thus, a university of this sort helps you grow more learned and skilled.
