DSE Jammu Starts Counselling Service for Students and Parents
DSE Jammu introduces a tele-counselling service for students and their parent to overcome exam anxiety. DSE has started a helpline- AAO BAAT KARE for students and parents which is available on all working days from 10 am to 4:30 pm.
Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSE) has started a tele-counselling service for students and parents. With the exam season finally approaching, students tend to get stressed and anxious easily. This counselling programme by DSE Jammu will help students in coping with this stress and other issues related to it. Face to face counselling as well as guidance over telephonic conversations will be provided to the students and their parents.
DSE has introduced a helpline named ‘AAO BAAT KARE’ which can be reached on all working days from 10 am to 4:30 pm. The exams for class 10th and 12th start from 6th and 5th March respectively. DSE aims at guiding students in overcoming their exam stress, anxiety, issues related to studies, emotional problems and others.

This service is also focusing on talking to the parents of students to understand their problems better. The parents can benefit from this programme and obtain tips and instructions about how to help their children rise above their depression, aggressive or violent behaviour, slow learning problems, indiscipline, phobia, drug abuse etc. The counselling cell will also provide preparation tips and subject wise guidance to the students from experts.
