DTE Maharashtra DSD Merit List 2024 LIVE Updates: Direct Second Year Diploma provisional ranks, expected cutoff

DTE Maharashtra DSD Merit List 2024 LIVE Updates: The Directorate of Technical Education will release Maharashtra DSD merit list 2024 on July 31, 2024, on the official website - dsd24.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. The authority has yet to declare the official time to release the DTE Maharashtra DSD merit List 2024. Tentatively the same will be available in the evening, around 7 PM. Since the authority will first issue DTE Maharashtra DSD merit list provisionally, the candidates can submit an online grievance against it, if any error or discrepancy is found. The last date for submitting the grievance is August 3, 2024. Based on that the authority will release the DTE Maharashtra DSD final merit list on August 5, 2024. Note that once the final merit list is released, the candidates will not be able to submit a grievance against it.

Through the merit list, the authority will publish the provisional ranks of the students in the open category, reservation category, home university quota, other university quota, and so on as applicable to the candidate.

What after the DTE Maharashtra DSD Merit List?

After downloading the DTE Maharashtra DSD merit list pdf, the candidates should type Ctrl+F to find their names and provisional ranks in the merit list. If there is a need to submit an online grievance, then the candidates should do it by the scheduled date. Post that the authority will not entertain it further. After addressing all the errors, the authority will release the final merit list later on the official website. 

The candidates who find their names in the provisional merit list are eligible to participate in the DTE Maharashtra DSD CAP round 1 counselling process. They can exercise the choices between August 6 and 8, 2024. The candidates are advised to refer to the seat matrix, which will be released on August 5, 2024, during the CAP Round 1 choice-filling process.

  DTE Maharashtra DSD Merit List 2024: Important Instructions for Submitting Online Grievances

  Candidates who will choose E-Scrutiny mode for grievance submission should refer to the following instructions:

  • Candidates should login using their login IDs
  • Along with it, the candidates should upload requisite documents to substantiate the claim
  • Post that the candidates will receive the status of acceptance/ rejection of the grievance raised by the candidates along with the latest receipt cum Acknowledgement
  • No document will be accepted to substantiate the claim after the stipulated date

  Note, that the candidates who will choose Physical scrutiny mode, should submit the grievance about correction by reporting at FC.

  If there is a tie or two or more candidates get similar marks, then the authority will follow the below-mentioned guidelines to assign the second-year provisional ranks to the candidates. 

  • Higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC
  • Higher percentage of marks in Science at SSC
  • Higher percentage of marks in English at SSC

  The authority will release the DTE Maharashtra DSD merit list for those candidates, who have successfully submitted the application form by the scheduled date. The merit list will be prepared based on the obtainable marks at the qualifying exam.
