Second cut-offs list of Delhi University was announced on July 4 basis which further admissions will be done. Although there was a dip in percentage, the second cut-off for all popular colleges is above 95%.
The cut-off for science courses has seen a fall of 1-3 percentage points while the decline in humanities and commerce course was 0.25-2 percentage points.

Ramjas College with 99.25% requirement for its B.Com (Hons.) course – more than SRCC’s cut-off i.e. 98% – was faring at the top of the first list. With cut-off this high, only 3 students could take admission to the B.Com (Hons.) course of Ramjas College. The cut-off has now dropped down to 97.75%.
Cut-off for Economics (Hons.) at SRCC has dropped by 0.5% i.e. now 97.75%. Admission to B.Com (Hons.) will start at 97.50% as per the second list. There are 314 seats vacant in Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Percentage required for BA programme offered by Kirori Mal College has seen a dip of 1.5% and stands at 95%. Admission to BA (Hons.) History has been closed at the college.

English (Hons.) being the most popular course among the students, saw a shift of 0.75 percentage points for Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) and the prerequisite is now 97.50%.
Psychology (Hons.) didn’t see much depreciation in the second list and came down by just 0.25 percentage points.

Admissions to Sciences courses such as Zoology (Hons.) and BSc Life Sciences have been closed in many colleges. Although only 433 out of 1085 seats at Sri Venkateswara College are filled, admission to its Botany (Hons.), Zoology (Hons.), and Sanskrit (Hons.) courses have been closed.
Aditi Mahavidyalaya, Ramanujan College, Mata Sundari College and Bharti College have closed admissions to their B.Com (Hons.) courses.
9 colleges including Hindu College, Kirori Mal Colleges, Gargi College and Moti Lal Nehru College have closed admission to their History (Hons.) course. In many of the above courses, admissions to reserved category seats have also been concluded. Seats in History (Hons.) is still available in colleges including Miranda House, Ramjas, SGTB Khalsa, LSR and Venkateshwara college.

Many seats were vacant in a lot of prominent colleges such as Shri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Shri Ram College, Indraprastha College for Women, Miranda College, etc. before the announcement of the second cut-off list.

The first cut-off list for DU was announced on June 30. Unlike previous years, the cut-off for DU didn’t reach the mark of 100 in 2016. Ramjas College had the highest cut-off for B.Com (Hons.) i.e. 99.25%.
Though there was a rise in cut-off for SGBT Khalsa College and Ramjas College, there has been a fall in cut-off for various courses offered by several colleges.
