DU Admissions 2017: NCWEB Releases Sixth Cut-Off, Popular Colleges Closed for Admission
- The NCWEB admission process for B.Com and B.A courses under sixth cut-off list will conclude on July 28, 2017.
- The sixth cut-off for B.Com course in some colleges stood at 56%.
Delhi University has released the sixth cut-off list for Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board. NCWEB offers B.Com and B.A programmes. The NCWEB admission process for B.Com and B.A courses under sixth cut-off list will conclude on July 28, 2017. The aspirants can visit the respective teaching centres to complete the admission formalities. NCWEB may also release the seventh cut-off list. The fifth cut-off list was out on July 21, 2017. Delhi University also released the seventh cut-off list for regular/ merit-based courses today.

The candidates who wish to seek admission under sixth cut-off list must visit the respective teaching centres between 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

According to the UGC guidelines, NCWEB is an informal process of procuring degree from the University of Delhi. NCWEB enrolls only women candidates. The cut-offs for B.A and B.Com programmes started to drop from the fourth cut-off list. Even the fourth cut-off list witnessed a major drop by 6%. ST category witnessed the lowest cut-off by a frop of 33% in the fourth cut-off list.

The sixth cut-off for B.Com course in some colleges stood at 56%. However, the cut-off is around 60%-70% in many colleges. On the other hand, the cut-off for B.A course under general category is 55%-70% in many colleges. However, admissions were closed under the General category for B.A course in popular colleges. Only limited number of seats are available in B.Com course.
Similar to the fourth cut-off list, the least cut-off was 33% for ST category. While applying for colleges, the candidates must carry all the mandatory and necessary documents.
