DU Admissions 2018: New Features Added to UG Online Application Form
- DU has added new features to the online application form for UG courses.
- An orientation programme will be conducted April 27 & 28, 2018, to familiarise students and parents on the online application process for UG courses.
The University of Delhi will begin the application process for UG courses soon. This year, application form merit-based UG courses and entrance-based UG courses can be submitted through a single portal. Apart from this, the DU has added some new features to the online application form to ensure more transparency in the admission process.
With a motive to familiarise the students and parents regarding the online application process and new features, DU will conduct a two-day pre-admission orientation programme on April 27 and April 28, 2018. The orientation programme will be conducted at Conference Centre near Gate – 4 of North Campus. Interested students and parents can take part in the orientation programme to clarify their doubts related to the online application process for UG courses.

New Features Added by DU in Online Application Form for UG Courses:
- One of the unique features added by DU in the online application form for UG courses is ‘Automatic capturing of Class 12 marks scored by CBSE student’. As soon as a CBSE student enters his/ her Class 12 registration number, the marks scored by the respective student will be filled automatically in the application form. However, this feature is applicable only for CBSE board students.
- This year, students applying under SportsCategory can upload three best certificates. Until last year, students were allowed to upload only one certificate.

Apart from the changes as mentioned above, DU has also included five-year integrated journalism course to the portal.
