DU Admissions: SGTB Khalsa Soars above all in First Cut-off 2017
- Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College has emerged with the highest cut-offs in 2017.
- The college has highest cut-offs in all three streams i.e. science, arts and commerce.
- There has been a slight rise in the highest cut-off in 2017.
The first cut-off of the academic session 2017-18 for admission to the University of Delhi (DU) has been released. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur (SGTB) Khalsa College has emerged with the highest cut-offs in 2017 amongst all DU Colleges.
The college has highest cut-offs in all three streams i.e. science, arts and commerce. This is the second consecutive year that the DU cut-offs have not touched 100% marks.
There has been a slight rise in the highest cut-off in 2017. Ramjas College had the highest cut-off in 2016 for B.Com (Hons.) at 99.25% followed by Khalsa College with 99% for B.Sc. (Hons.) Electronics. However, in 2017, SGTB Khalsa College’s B.Sc. (Hons.) Electronics programme has the highest cut-off i.e. 99.66%.

The lowest cut-off in 2017 was recorded for B.A (Hons.) Sanskrit programme offered by Gargi College and Vivekananda College i.e. 50%. In the science field, the lowest cut-off was 83% for B.Sc. programme offered by Institute of Home Economics. Whereas, for commerce, the lowest cut-off was 88% at Bhagini Nivedita College for B.Com programme.
