Coronavirus Impact : DU Begins Counselling and Webinar Series for Students
Delhi University has started online counselling for the students and will also begin a detailed webinar series for the undergraduate as well as the postgraduate students.
Delhi University has started online counselling for the students. As per the official notification, DU has released a series of numbers of professors whom students can contact by visiting the official portal. The Central Placement Cell of the university is also planning to start a detailed webinar series for the undergraduate as well as the postgraduate students.
The webinar will be a weekly meeting series which will begin from May 4, 2020, from 5 pm-6 pm. It will be held every Monday and the first topic will be Gen Z and jobs of the future, which will be followed by business ethics on May 11. Various other topics such as how to make a resume, introduction to data analytics and how to crack interviews will also be discussed. Another webinar which has been planned by DU is on ‘COVID-19 and the challenges faced by visually impaired’. This webinar will be addressed by Shakuntala D Gamlin, secretary disability affairs, department of empowerment of persons with disabilities under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Yogesh Tyagi, the VC is also likely to be part of the webinar.

Meanwhile, DU has also begun with the admission process for foreign students. The last date of application for which has now been extended due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The UG course deadline is June 12. The application forms for the Indian students are yet to be released.
