- It may again be noted that all the applicants seeking admission to the Postgraduate Courses have to mandatorily register online, irrespective of the mode of admission.
- At the time of Registration, applicants can choose to apply under one of the following options:
- MERIT BASED only
- ENTRANCE TEST BASED only
- Both MERIT and ENTRANCE TEST BASED
- The Board will release separate Admission Lists in both modes.
- Reservation / Concession, as per the existing rules of the University of Delhi, will be applicable separately in both modes (MERIT and ENTRANCE TEST).

DU NCWEB PG First Merit List Today: Mode of Admissions
For Postgraduate Courses, NCWEB offers two types of admission options:
- MERIT BASED: 50% of total seats will be filled based on applicants' performance in the Qualifying Examination. Where applicable, the MERIT BASED option is only available to applicants who hold an eligible Bachelor's Degree from the University of Delhi.
- ENTRANCE TEST BASED: The remaining 50% of total seats will be filled based on applicants' performance in the Entrance Test.
