DU Re-Opens Admissions Portal 2016 to Fill Results & College Preference Details
The university has now re-opened the portals for admissions to UG (based on entrance exam only) and PG courses.
Delhi University has announced the results for most of the courses for the academic session 2016. The university has now re-opened the portals for admissions to UG (based on entrance exam only) and PG courses for registered applicants. Applicants were eligible to apply from July 13, 9:00 AM onwards.
Applicants who wish to take admissions will have to log into their accounts on the DU admission portal via their registered email address and password. Aspiring candidates will have to update the information mentioned below:
- Result of the qualified exam
- Preferred college (if applicable)
- Other information that is required
The university will close the admission portal on July 16, 2016 at 11:00 PM. Candidates must fill the details with respect to the category via which they are applying within the scheduled timeline.

Note: If the admission gets approved, candidates must fill the admission fees online for the courses they have taken admissions to. The deadline for filling the admission fees is till 12:00 PM till the day next to which the cutoff list deadline is.
Seats that will remain vacant after the fifth cutoff list will be reflected on the university’s official website, college website as well as the notice board. Candidates who have registered earlier can apply for these seats within the time span of 3 days from the release of the notification.
A merit list will be announced by the college comprised of the candidates who have qualified for admissions to the vacant seats. Based on this merit list, the admissions will be done within two days after the announcement of the cutoff list.
Only three merit list for admissions via this process will be released by the colleges affiliated to the university in 2016. Subsequent to this, if seats remain vacant then colleges can invite open applications.

Note: For evening colleges, candidates will have to apply between 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM between the schedules.
