DU: School of Open Learning (SOL) Begins UG Admissions 2017
- The School of Open Learning or SOL of the University of Delhi has begun the registration process for the admission to distance UG courses for the academic session 2017-18.
- July 31, 2017, is the deadline to apply.
The School of Open Learning or SOL of the University of Delhi has begun the registration process for the admission to distance UG courses for the academic session 2017-18. SOL offers five UG courses that include two B.Com and three B.A courses. School of Open Learning is the best alternative for the students who wish to pursue studies besides the job.
The minimum qualification required for the admission to SOL UG courses is Class 12. The following are the various courses offered by School of Open Learning or SOL: -
- B.Com Programme
- B.Com (Hons)
- B.A Programme
- B.A (Hons) Political Science
- B.A (Hons) English

Eligibility for B.Com and B.A Programme: -
- For both B.Com and B.A programme, the minimum qualification is Class 12 with 40% of marks.
Eligibility for B.Com (Hons): -
- Class 12 with 55% of marks is necessary to seek admission.
Eligibility for B.A (Hons) Political Science: -
- As per the university, 50% marks in Class 12 is necessary to seek admission.
Eligibility for B.A (Hons) English: -
- 65% of marks in Class 12 are mandatory.

Application Procedure: -
- There is an official portal for DU SOL.
- One can complete the registration process through the DU SOL portal.
- Before filling the application form, register on the official website.
- With the help of login credentials, complete the registration process.
- Upload all the mandatory documents.
- Pay the admission fee.
- Make a note of Roll Number.
- Download the fee receipt and ID card.
