DVET ITI Maharashtra Document Verification 2023: The Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET), Maharashtra, has released important information regarding the document verification process for ITI admissions in the year 2023. Aspiring candidates who have successfully been allocated a seat are required to undergo offline document verification as the next step towards securing their seats in ITI courses. Candidates will have to report at the allocated college with all the original documents for verification.

The DVET document verification process will be conducted from July 21, 2023, starting at 9 AM, and will continue until July 25, 2023, until 5 PM. During this period, candidates must report to the designated verification centers with all the necessary documents in their original form.

List of Documents Required for DVET ITI Maharashtra Document Verification 2023

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free verification process, candidates must bring the following documents:

  • Aadhar Card: An essential identification document that serves as proof of identity and address.
  • Ration Card (with candidate's name): A document to validate the candidate's residential status.
  • Domicile Certificate: A certificate confirming the candidate's residence in the state of Maharashtra.
  • Income Certificate (valid until March 31, 2024): Proof of the candidate's family income to determine eligibility for certain categories.
  • Caste Certificate: For candidates belonging to reserved categories, this certificate is required to claim reserved seats.
  • Caste Validity Certificate: A certificate to authenticate the candidate's caste status.
  • EWS Certificate: For candidates applying under the Economically Weaker Sections category, this certificate is mandatory.
  • PwD Certificate: Proof of disability for candidates with disabilities, enabling them to avail of reservation benefits.
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid until March 31, 2024): For candidates belonging to the OBC category, this certificate is essential to claim reservation benefits.
  • Additional Marks Certificates (if applicable): In cases where additional marks are added to the candidate's class 10 board exam score, the relevant certificates must be submitted.
  • Candidates are advised to carry all the original documents along with photocopies for verification. Any discrepancies in the DVE Maharashtra 2023 document verification process could lead to disqualification, so it is crucial to ensure all documents are in order and valid.
