EDII Launches New PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development Course

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad has launched a new Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course. The new course launched by EDII will help students specialise in Innovation Entrepreneurship and Venture Development.

The PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV) at EDII Ahmedabad is an AICTE-approved course aimed to develop the leadership and financial skills required in an entrepreneur. The course curriculum has been designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to become successful entrepreneurs. It will develop an understanding of how to convert an idea into a sustainable business.

Dr Sunil Shukla, the Direct General of EDII, gave more information about the course.

Dr Shukla said that the course targets the two major problems faced by the Indian entrepreneurs, which are raising funds and providing innovation in their product and services. He also added financial skill development will be an integral part of the course and address the issue of many startups failing because of the inability to raise angel funds.

EDII Ahmedabad PGDM in EV Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognized university will be eligible for this course provided that they have at least a 50% score in their graduation. Additionally, candidates will also have to qualify in a management entrance exam such as CAT / CMAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA for admission to the course.
