Education Minister of Punjab Stresses on Career Counselling
The state government has appointed career counsellors in all the districts.
The Education Minister of Punjab,Mr. Daljeet Singh Cheema said that the students have to choose a right career path. Career counselling plays an important role to make students choose the right track. Addressing the students at a prize distribution ceremony organised by NGO Sankalp said that the state government had opened meritorious schools across the state where students are trained for various competitive examinations. On this occasion, he felicitated a total number of 150 students from different schools and colleges who stood as the toppers.

He said that the state government is providing career guidance to the students of class X to class XII. He mentioned that the government had conducted district level career counselling camps in all the districts.
He advised the students not to waste the education and life by choosing an irrelevant career. He also stressed that parents also need to play a significant role in motivating their children to choose the right career. The state government has appointed career counsellors in all the districts. The Punjab government trains these instructors, and each district has a career counselling centre.
