Educational Institutes Need to Emphasize on Research: Javadekar
Javadekar further explained that the economy of India is growing in a fast phase and it needs better managers and good leaders from higher learning institutes in India.
Addressing the students of a management institute, HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar, laid emphasis on the importance of research. He indicated the all the institutes of higher learning must focus on research and play a significant role in developing the country. On the other hand, he added that there is a requirement for skilled people and expertise in all the sectors to manage the fast-growing economy.
Javadekar further explained that the economy of India is growing at a pace that it needs better managers and good leaders from higher learning institutes in India. Therefore, the management institutes across the country need to produce better managers for which they shall render training who need to play a significant role in developing the economy of the country.

Explaining the current situation of the Indian economy, Javadekar pointed that the economy has been facing many challenges and problems. With an objective to generate employment opportunities, the government is taking up various projects. On the other hand, the government has undertaken various skill-building projects to help students become highly employable.

Ved Prakash, Chairman of UGC was the guest of honour for the programme. He highlighted that educational institutes are the most enduring organisations in the world, which play a crucial role in the development of society. Only the educational institutes can take society to the next level in the process of development, he added.
