Entrance Exam for Delhi University B.Com Admissions 2018 Likely
- Sources have revealed that DU will conduct entrance exam for admission to B.Com courses for the upcoming session.
- The university has not released any official notification regarding the same but the exam is expected to be similar to DU JAT.
The University of Delhi (DU) has all arrangements in place to start entrance exam for admission to B.Com courses for the academic session 2018. However, Delhi University has not yet released any official notification regarding the same.
According to media reports, the university will select students for the B.Com and B.Com (Hons) courses on the basis of performance of applicants in the entrance that the university will organize.
The sources also revealed that the B.Com entrance exam that is likely to be conducted by DU will be an all-India level exam. The scores secured by candidates in the entrance exam will be accepted by colleges affiliated to Delhi University including top colleges like Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), Jesus & Mary College (JMC), Hansraj College, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Hindu College.

DU conducts entrance exam for admission to few other undergraduate programmes, however, if the university confirms the report of the exam, this will be the first time that entrance exam will be conducted for B.Com admissions. Until now, admission to DU are done on the basis of Class 12 marks.
The university has not yet revealed the pattern of the B.Com entrance exam, dates of the application process, exam duration, etc. However, according to the information provided by the sources, the exam pattern will be similar to DU JAT exam conducted for admission to BMS, BBE and BBA (FIA) courses.

Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is another entrance exam conducted by DU to select aspirants for admission in various UG and PG courses.
