Blood Donation Camp at RRIMT Lucknow

On the occation of World Health Day on April 7th RR Institute of modern Technology, BKT , Lucknow organized a blood donation camp. The camp was organized in association with Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji Civil Hospital and Hariom Sewa Kendra Lucknow.

More than 100 students have participated in the camp, Chairman of the institute, Mr. Anil Kumar Agarwal appreciated the students for their work. The day was also celebrated with great enthusiasm and spirit by staff and students. Some posters were set up to create awareness on blood donation.

Blood is a vital component of the human life as it provides the crucial nourishment to the body tissues and organs. By organizing such event on World Health Day college wanted to bring the great changes in the society in order to follow the life-saving measures and prevent the serious illness caused by the violence and injury, childbirth related complications, road traffic accidents and many more conditions.

Students said that they are just helping in a noble cause of donating blood on the dictum that paucity of blood for transfusion should not deter a surgeon from operating on a patient. No life should be lost due to lack of blood."

RR Institute of Modern Technology offers courses in the domain of Engineering and Management. The college has its affiliation with the Ultra Pradesh Technical University and has its accreditation with the AICTE. The college was established in 2008.
