Health Camp at BBD University

The Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences organised an oral health check-up camp in association with the UP chapter of Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India. BBD University Vice-Chancellor AK Mittal inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The camp aimed at creating awareness among people about oral diseases. It was conducted under the guidance of Dr Anuradha, head of Public Health Dentistry department. A large number of students, faculty members and people from nearby villages participated in it.

Dr Anuradha said that if any person was diagnosed with any oral disease he or she would get treatment free of cost from BBDCoDS. A body health check-up was conducted under the guidance of Dr Anuj Maheshwari of the university.

A camp was also organised for body mass index checkup, body fat content, visceral pack content, blood sugar and blood pressure.
