Lucknow Management Association Lucknow organises Inter B School Presentation Competition

LMA (Lucknow Management Association) and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the MBA Students Forum Lucknow, organised an Inter B School Presentation Competition on the theme ‘Start-ups-A Case Study which Inspired Me Most.’

The welcome address was delivered by Dr Sushil Pandey, Dean, School of Management. Devesh Agarwal threw light on LMA and discussed the advantages of being associated with LMA. Sachin Sahni (Board member of TiE as Secretary of Lucknow Chapter) told the audience about TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) the world’s largest entrepreneurs’ network.

Dr Sindhuja Mishra briefed the audience about the rationale behind holding the event. She said that the objective of holding this event was to inspire, encourage and guide budding managers to come up as entrepreneurs. She said this event would help the students to become aware of various leading start-ups, to identify new market opportunities and develop innovative business models.



17 teams from various colleges like Amity University, Lucknow University, BBD University, Jaipuria Institute of Management and Techno Group of Institutions participated in the event. Vipin Gupta (LMA, Devesh Agarwal (LMA), Ashish Kaul (president, TiE) and Aman Shahpuri (TiE) judged the event. Swati Singh of Lucknow University (for start-up Lucknow kitchen) won the first prize, Alina Pari of BBDU (for her presentation on OYO ) won the first runner-up prize to and the third prize won by Divyansha Kumar of Jaipuria Institute of Management for her presentation on Project Khel.

Prof AK Mittal, Vice-Chancellor, BBD University, congratulated the organisers and said that such events are source of development of students and the BBD University would do all it could to encourage them in future.
