Event Update- NIT Patna Organises Techno-Cultural Fest 2016

NIT Patna brings you technology with a hint of culture! With CORONA, the technical fest and MELANGE, the cultural fest, Nit Patna brings you the biggest techno-cultural fest of Bihar. The festival will take place from 22nd of January till 27th of January, 2016.

Starting with the lightening of the lamp by Prof. U.S.Triar (Director-In Charge), Dr. S.K.Mandal (President), Er. Vikas Upadhyay (Vice-President), Er. S.S.Chaudhary (Vice-President), Prof. G.K.Chaudhary (Dean Student Welfare) and Praveen Kumar Upadhyay (Student Coordinator), the event was carried further by chanting God’s name, ‘Sarawsati Vandana’ by the Music Club of NIT Patna.

Praveen Kumar Upadhyay (Student Coordinator) addressed the students and appreciated thier enthusiasm. Then president, Dr. S.K.Mandal explained how the institute wanted to enhance the technical and cultural knowledge of the students by this fest. The Dean Student Welfare, Prof. G.K.Chaudhary motivated all students to participate in this fest and increased their enthusiasm. At last, the Director In Charge, Prof. U.S.Triar came on the stage and explainee to the students how the fest was acting as a medium for students of different colleges to come together and communicate, and participate in the event. Then he declared the beginning of the TECHNO-CULTURAL FEST 2016.

First Day:

On the first day, students participated in fun events like:

• Pen and paper rounds of various clubs under Corona.
• Stick the sticks event (students made various models with ice-cream sticks)
• Funtoosh (drawing on the basis of the mentioned concept)
