Placement Drive at Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT)

Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT) know for offering excellent courses both in undergraduate, postgraduate & Ph. D programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture as well as MBA, MCA and Ph. D in English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry amongst others.

For the 2016 session, DIT has companies lined up for the placement drive of outgoing students.

Transparency Market Research is a market research firm providing current market trends and forecast reports. This company was in the campus on 4th February, 2016 for students with educational qualification as MBA, B.E, B. Tech, B. Sc, B. Pharma and M. Pharma. The position being offered was that of a Research Associate with an experience of 0-1 years, offering a package of 3.10 to 4.25 lakhs per annum.

The venue of the placement drive was at Vendata & the in-house Computer Lab at DIT. To ensure the recruitment of apt candidate, the placement process was started with an online test and the results are expected soon.

Earlier on 29th January 2016, ALEMBIC , established in 1907 and functioning in over 73 countries visited the DIT campus as well.

ALEMBIC visited the campus to recruit Sales Executives from MBA and Marketing Representatives from B. Pharma courses. About 40 students participated in the drive which commenced with an aptitude test followed by an interview. All those who cleared the aptitude were allowed to sit for the interview.

Sources say out of 40 students who appeared for the Aptitude Test, only 12 got through for the Interview. The final result is awaited.
