Expected JEE Advanced Cutoff 2023: To qualify JEE Advanced examination and be included in the rank list, the candidates must score the minimum specified overall and subject-wise marks. These cutoff marks change every year based on the median performance of the candidates. The basic criteria for deciding JEE Advanced cutoff is that “the total number of qualified candidates shall be twice the number of total available seats”. Hence, if the overall performance of the students is good, the cutoff will be higher and vice-versa.
It is also to be noted that the same principle is applicable at a category-wise level as well. However, the subject-wise cutoff will remain the same regardless of the differences in the difficulty level of the subjects. The expected JEE Advanced 2023 cutoff is given below per the past cutoffs.

The candidate must meet the minimum marks in each subject to be included in the rank list. It is important to note that even if a candidate qualifies overall cutoff but does not qualify the subject-wise cutoff (in any of the three subjects), then his/her final result will be marked as ‘disqualified’. The cutoff for all three subjects remains the same.
