Is 60 a Good Percentile in JEE Main 2024?

The 60 percentile is not a good score in JEE Main 2024 for general, OBC, and EWS candidates. These category candidates will not even be qualified to register for the counselling process. Also, no candidate will be eligible for JEE Advanced.

For SC and ST candidates as well, though they will be eligible for counselling registration, it is an average score. At the 60 percentile, candidates are unlikely to get admission at any NIT, IIIT, or GFTI. Furthermore, far fewer candidates from these categories are likely to be eligible for JEE Advanced examination.

However, NTA has given an option for the students of Session 1 to reappear in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 examination for a better and improved score. Consistent practice and effort are required to score better in the April session.
