Expected Safe Percentile in JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main January 2025 session shall note the expected safe percentile here. Based on the Expected Safe Percentile in JEE Main 2025 Session 1 candidates shall analyse their performances and decide, whether or not to appear for the session 2 exams. Candidates are advised to check the previous year's cutoffs to analyse the predicted cutoff for JEE Main 2025 cutoffs. The expected safe percentile is purely based on last year's trends and is subject to change as per the recent variables. Also, candidates should note that the lowest safe percentile is merely what is expected to be the closing percentile overall for all courses at NITs and IIITs.

Further, candidates shall note the previous year's closing ranks for NITs and IIITs admissions here for all programmes for Gender-Neutral and Female Supernumeracy here: 
  • Candidates shall note that Chemistry at the National Institute of Technology Agartala had the closing rank of 57997 for the General Category,  Other State Quota, Gender-Neutral quota was the final rank at which a candidate was accepted at an NIT.

  • For the General Category, Other State Quota, Female Supernumerary, the final rank at which a candidate was admitted to any NIT was 69524 at the National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, for the Civil Engineering program.

  • Again for the All India Quota at IIIT, the JEE Main closing rank for the previous year for Gender-Neutral was 56550 and for Female Supernumerary the closing rank was 67091. Only the Indian Institute of Information Technology Senapati Manipur was available for the Electronics and Communication  Engineering program with a focus on VLSI and Embedded Systems course.
