Expected Shortlisting Criteria for IIM Trichy through CAT 2023: The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli (IIMT) will soon notify shortlisting criteria through CAT 2023 for Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) 2024-26 batch. Almost the qualifying cutoff percentile for IIMs remains the same, general category candidates must secure an overall 93 percentile in CAT 2023 to be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) process. IIMT considers both sectional as well as overall cutoff percentile to shortlist for PI. According to the CAP Committee, the Written Ability Test (WAT) has been discontinued.

Here is the computation of aggregate scores that will be considered to select candidates for the final PI shortlist:

• CAT 2023 Score: 50%
• Personal Interview: 25%
• Verbal Comprehension: 3%
• Work Experience: 5%
• Undergraduate level: 5%
• Class 12: 3%
• Class 10: 2%
• Professional Qualification: 2%
• Gender Diversity: 5%

Note: The weightage for the IIMT shortlist might vary for the parameters provided above.
