Abha Gaikwad Patil College of Engineering organised a farewell party for final year students of Mechanical Engineering Department.
Final year students are appearing fro their final semester exams this month.
DJ nite was organised on this occasion where students vented out their feelings.
Songs were written by students and they recollected all their memoirs in the college. 'Studying for an exam was very tough task along with writing assignments of each subject, but this bitter fruit has turned into ripened sweet fruit as we're going to get an engineering degree' opined Akash Sukalkar, president of Mechanical Forum.
Students went back happy with memories of college after this event.
It was a dual feeling to go away from college and a joyful moment of becoming an engineer.
Director research of GPGI and former vice chancellor, VIT Vellore Dr D P Kothari, wished the students for their future and offered them a help in their further research.
This programme was attended by chairman of GPG Dr Mohan Gaikwad-Patil, treasurer Prof Sandip Gaikwad, director (administration) Anil Hood, principal of AGPCE, Dr S M Chandekar, vice-principal of AGPCE, Prof Pragati Patil, head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof Ajay Mahawadiwar, all the faculties and non-teaching staff of AGPCE.
