First-Ever Indian School of Public Policy Inaugurated in Delhi
The inaugural address at the launch of Indian School of Public Policy was given by N.K. Singh. The vision of ISPP is to enhance the knowledge about public policy and address the challenges related to the same.
The Indian School of Public Policy- ISPP is the first institute that will majorly focus on the subject of public policy in India. It was inaugurated in the national capital region recently and the inaugural address was given by N.K. Singh, Chairperson, 15th Finance Commission of India & Former, MP Rajya Sabha.
It is the first school of public policy which will focus on enhancing the knowledge, skills, wisdom and ethics of policy leaders.
Indian School of Public Policy Vision
The vision of ISPP is to develop a new class of policy leaders in India by enhancing their public policy knowledge, skills, ethics and wisdom so that they are empowered and equipped enough to address the challenges and implement solutions for the same.

Indian School of Public Policy Programme
The school will offer a one-year programme which will be equivalent to a master’s degree. The course will be a blend of theory and best practices of public policy from around the globe. Companies such as Deloitte, Twitter, Uber, PwC, GMR Group etc. will offer training and development opportunities to the leaders. The course will also equip the leaders with leadership and management skills.
Candidates who will have 2-3 years of professional experience will also be eligible for a 20 percent fee waiver. The first batch of the programme will start in August 2019.

Dr. Partha J Shah, Member of the Governing Council, said that ISPP is a revolutionary school which will help enhance the knowledge of the leaders in the field of public policy. In the coming years, the institute will launch more public policy programmes as well.
