Five Students from Lucknow University Crack Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Exam
Five students from Lucknow University have cleared the interview process of Bihar Public Service Commission BPSC and have been posted in different Universities of Bihar.
Accounting for a proud moment, five students from Lucknow University have cleared the Interview of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and are scheduled to join as Assistant Professors in different degree colleges and universities in Bihar.

Five students from Lucknow University who cracked BPSC are:
- Vipin Kumar
- Pragya Rai
- Preeti Rai
- Shailendra Kumar Singh
- Pawan Kumar Yadav
The news has enthused the teachers and student community of Lucknow University. The confidence of the students have redoubled and now they are getting determined to put in more efforts into their academics infrstructure. The achievements of these five students have also become a topic of discussion amongst students in hotels and campus of the University.
What is surprising is that all these students who have cleared the examination belong to the Department of Philosophy of Lucknow University. Pragya Rai and Preeti are sisters and they are gold medalists of the Department. They will serve as Assistant Professors in two different Universities. These universities are Bhagalpur and Magdhyapura University respectively.

Excited over their achievements, Preeti Rai said that she and her sister had cracked the National Eligibility Test (NET) together. Following this, they have also cracked the BPSC together. BPSC has conducted the interview after a gap of 13 years. Shailendra Kumar Singh, Vipin Kumar and Pawan Kumar Yadav will join Darbhanga and Magadh Universities.
Professor Rakesh Chandra from Lucknow University said that it was a great achievement for the Department of Philosophy of Lucknow University. Students from the same department have cleared the Civil Service examinations as well and are currently employed in top government jobs.
