France Delegates visit Super 30 Academy in Bihar

<p>Damien Syed, Consul General of France in Kolkata visited office of Anand Kumar&rsquo;s Super 30 Academy recently. The academy which is known for preparing students of deprived sessions to crack IIT exams attracted a lot of delegates earlier also. On October 9, Damien Syed, Consul General of France in Kolkata, Benjamin Weisz, Second Counsellor, French Embassy New Delhi and Christian Wagner, Political Counsellor of the German Embassy in New Delhi interacted with the students at Super30. According to a media report, the officials were there to know about Bihar elections and also visited the Super30 academy. After paying a visit, Damien Syed said, "It is a marvellous place and Anand Kumar is doing a wonderful job." "I wanted to be here as the German ambassador was also here a year ago and went away quite impressed with the way Super30 grooms students," said Wagner.The delegates had a talk with the students of the academy and said it was an astonishing experience. "We wish the students all the best in life so that they could hold important positions for Bihar's progress," Wagner included. The delegates invited Anand to France and Germany to see the higher education scenario and developing opportunities there, a statement from Super30 academy said. Earlier, US President Barack Obama's special envoy Rashad Hussain had also visited Super30 and termed it as one of the best. More than 300 students of 'Super30' have made it to different IITs since 2002 when the experiment started at Kumar's home in Patna. -With inputs from Mail</p>
