France Targets 10,000 Indian Students by 2020
Last year, around 4,000 Indian students took up various courses in France. Therefore, the French government decided to provide more opportunities to Indian students who wish to pursue higher studies in France.
It is a good news for the aspirants who wish to study abroad! France, a leading educational country in Europe, is targeting to enroll 10,000 students by the year 2020. Students who were disappointed with the foreign policies of the United States and Brexit can now feel a sign of relief. As of now, France is one of the favorable destination for the students who wish to pursue higher education abroad.

Alexander Ziegler, French Ambassador revealed that India is one of the most significant and strategic partners to France. Student mobility is an essential factor for greater exchanges between the two countries and the government of France is committed to broadening its doors to Indian students. He assured that the best educational opportunities will be provided to Indian students.

With an objective to connect with students in an effective way, Campus France India, a service provided by the Government of France to promote education will bring well-known French institutes to major cities in India, which include Kolkata, Indore, Bangalore and Delhi. For the first time, the French government is also organizing a Ph.D. tour where representatives from French Universities connect with Indian students who aspire to take up Ph.D. abroad.
Representatives from 30 French institutes will visit Delhi on February 25, 2017. Similarly, they will visit Kolkata on February 27, 2017, and Bangalore on March 2, 2017, respectively.
Some of the prominent b-schools and engineering institutes in France like Rennes School of Business, ESSEC Business School, Europe National School for Civil Aviation and others will connect with the students on the prescribed dates.
