FTII & SRFTI Begin JET 2019 Application Process for PGD Courses

Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) Kolkata and Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune have opened the registrations and application process for the admission to PGD courses through JET (Joint Entrance Exam) 2019.

JET 2019 is an entrance exam conducted jointly by FTII and SRFTI for all the Film and Television courses offered by them. JET 2019 score is mandatory for all the courses offered by these institutes. The candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for orientation and interview. For PGD course in Acting, the candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for the audition.

Eligibility Norms for JET 2019

The eligibility criteria for JET 2019 is as follows -

• Bachelor’s degree is the major criteria for the admission to PGD courses.
• Candidates who wish to seek admission to PGD in Sound Recording, Sound Design must note Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Physics as one of the subjects of study in Class 12 is mandatory to be eligible for the admission.
• Similarly, candidates who wish to seek admission to PGD in Art Direction and Production Design must note that Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts/ Interior Design/ Sculpture/ Painting/ Architecture/ Applied Arts is mandatory to be eligible for the admission.

Online Registration and Application Fee for JET 2019

The application fee details for JET 2019 are as follows -

• Visit the official website of JET 2019 to submit the online application.
• The JET 2019 application fee for PwD, ST and SC candidates is Rs. 1,250, while the application fee for General category is Rs. 4,000.
