<p>The students who have missed the chance to get a seat in DU has a reason to be happy. Delhi University is going to announce four more cut-off lists to fill the vacant seats. After seven cut-off list, eight cut-offs will be released on Thursday and in due course, ninth, 10th and 11th cut-offs will also come.
In the beginning, the admission committee had announced that total seven cut-offs will be enough to fill the available seats in the University but still 10% seats are vacant.
The Registrar has sent the notifications to the colleges asking them to inform about a vacant number of seats.
Due to the high-cut offs, the top 10 colleges of the University have still vacant seats and to avoid back-door entries, the committee has asked colleges to inform the available seats so that further cut-offs could be released.
In order to make the admission procedure more transparent, the university had asked the colleges to release the number of admissions taken place along with the OMR form of the candidate as soon as possible. All the information will be updated on the official site.
As per the officials, the chances of getting admission in University is more for the reserved categories than the general category.
