FYJC Admission Process 2022 Delayed, Mock Round Soon

The FYJC Admission 2022 has been delayed and the mock round has not yet started. Following the admission schedule released by the Directorate of Education, several candidates had tried to access the centralized online system of the FYJC Admission Portal. However, it was to no avail because the registration link was not active and the portal had not yet been opened.
The Mock Test for the FYJC Admission 2022 was supposed to be started online from May 1 onwards according to the Admission Schedule released by the Directorate of Education. However, it has still not begun. Aspiring candidates who are worried about the opening of the registration portal have sought clarification for the delay from the Directorate of Education.

Breaking the silence on the delay of the First Year Junior College Admissions, the Director of Education (Secondary) Mahesh Palkar stated that - “Currently, board exams are going on for CBSE students. They will not be able to begin the registration process. Moreover… there is a possibility that Maharashtra state board results may be announced earlier. All the aspects are under consideration before the process actually begins”.
The Admission Schedule had been issued by the Directorate of Education earlier. As per the schedule, the online registration process is supposed to begin from May 17, 2022, onwards. This includes the filling of the Application Form. The second part of the registration process which includes the filling of the marks secured and the selection of colleges will take place after the declaration of the Class X results.
The Directorate has also faced a lot of backlash from parents and students for not taking into account the differences in the dates of result publication of different boards.
