GAIL to Start Coaching Centers for Aspiring Techies from Poor Families
- The coaching centre will be known as GAIL Utkarsha 100 and will be established in Shrinagar and Almora.
- It will provide coaching to 50 students annually.

GAIL India Ltd., Dehradun will set up two new coaching institutes in Uttarakhand to provide coaching to the meritorious students from marginalised families for the top engineering colleges across the country such as IITs & NITs. The coaching centre will be known as GAIL Utkarsha100, and they will be established in Shrinagar and Almora. It will provide coaching to 50 students annually for admission into top engineering colleges.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was the part of the ceremony where the MoU for setting up the coaching centres was signed between GAIL & the Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership. According to his statement, this initiative will help the promising students from poor backgrounds to chase their dreams. With the help of these coaching centres, they can get into their dream IITs and other top engineering colleges.
GAIL India Ltd. will be making an expenditure of Rs 2.50 crore per annum on Utkarsha Super 100 and will also give a scholarship of Rs 5,000 per month to each student who makes it to the top engineering colleges. This is a commendable step taken by GAIL India to help the outstanding candidates to turn their dreams into reality. The coaching centres will also help talent hidden in the hills to come forward and explore the career options.

GAIL India Ltd has pioneered several social initiatives like these under its corporate social responsibility. CMD BC Tripathi GAIL India Ltd. stated that they are also planning to set up to coaching centres in Kumaon & Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand.
