IIT Roorkee – the exam organizing body – has provided the GATE 2017 admit cards. The admit cards were released on January 4.
IIT Roorkee – the exam organizing body – has provided the GATE 2017 admit cards. The admit cards were released on January 4. Candidates appearing for GATE 2017 will be able to download their admit cards from the official website of the exam.
Candidates must download and save a printout of their admit cards. Entry to the respective exam centers will not be allowed if you are not carrying your admit card on the day of the exam. You must also go through all the details and verify if they are correct or not. In case of discrepancy, you should inform the examination authority.

Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original and valid photo ID, photocopy of the ID. Those who fail to bring their photo identification proof to the exam center will not be allowed to take the test.
Candidates can carry either of the identification proofs mentioned below:
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN card
- Valid college ID
- Driving License
- Employee identification card
International candidates will have to show either a valid Passport, Employee ID, Government-issued ID or College ID as the identification proof.
