GATE 2017 Application Window Extended by IIT Roorkee
The candidates who are waiting to apply for GATE 2017 have to apply by 11.00 AM on October 10, 2016.
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee announced that the last date for the submission of applications for GATE 2017 has been extended to October 10, 2016. The online application portal was expected to close on October 4, 2016. However, IIT-R extended the dates as the application process of most of the candidates in underway. The candidates who are waiting to apply for GATE 2017 have to apply by 11.00 AM on October 10, 2016.

The candidates have to submit the online applications through the official website of GATE 2017. The candidates who are waiting to correct minor mistakes in the application forms will be notified only after October 20, 2016. The date for the correction window of the application form will be announced on the official website.

This year, a total number of three new test centres have been added for GATE 2017 which include Gorakhpur, IIT Kanpur Zone, Dibrugarh and Burdwan, IIT Guwahati Zone.
GATE 2017 exam is scheduled to take place on February 4 - 5, 2017 and February 11 – 12, 2017. The results will be announced on March 27, 2017.
