GATE 2023 Begins Today: Check February 4 Schedule, Exam Timings, Reporting Schedule
Candidates may note the GATE 2023 schedule, exam timings, and reporting time as the exam will be conducted in two shifts, and candidates are expected to report on time to complete verification at the entrance gate.
GATE 2023: The GATE 2023 exams are scheduled to begin today, February 4, 2023. The GATE 2023 exams will be held on February 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th. The exams will be conducted for a total of 29 papers. Candidates appearing for the GATE 2023 exams shall note that the exams will be held on various dates as per the schedule released for various papers. Also, each day, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates appearing for the exams are expected to check their admit cards for the exam date and exam timings.
Today, on February 4th, 2023, the Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) paper will be conducted in the first shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. And in the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Architecture and Planning (AR) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) papers will be conducted. Candidates appearing for the exams may report to the exam venue on time to avoid late arrivals. Also, candidates will only be allowed to leave after the exam timing is over.

GATE 2023 Exam Day Instructions
- Candidates arriving late to the exam venue will not be allowed to enter the exam hall or appear for the exam.
- Always carry the hard copy of the GATE 2023 Admit Card and a photo ID proof to complete the verification process at the entrance gate. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed.
- Follow the instructions given by the staff in the examination hall to avoid termination of the examination.
- Do not carry any prohibited items on the examination center even unknowingly, as if candidates are found in possession, they will be disqualified immediately.
