IISC Bangalore has released GATE 2024 exam date along with the application start and last dates. Candidates can check out the full schedule below
GATE 2024 Exam Date Released: IISC Bangalore has released the GATE 2024 exam date and the application process will start from the 24th August 2023. As per the official schedule, the exam will be held for 4 days in the month of Feburary and the admit card related to the same will be released on 3rd January 2023. The examination will be held for four days in two sessions each day on (dates). The subject-wise date and session timings for GATE 2024 examination are detailed on the page below. It is to be noted that the Forenoon Session will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while the Afternoon Session is from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Candidates can check out the GATE 2024 exam pattern and marking scheme below to prepare strategically for the test:
GATE 2024 will be a computer-based examination.
The test duration will be 3 hours.
GATE 2024 examination will be conducted for 29 papers.
The question paper will include Multiple Select Questions, Multiple Choice Questions, and/or Numerical Answer Type Questions.
One mark and two marks questions will be asked in the question paper.
The total marks for the examination will be 100.
Candidates will be awarded one or two marks for every right answer.
For wrong answers in one mark MCQ, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
For wrong answers in two-mark MCQ, 2/3rd marks will be deducted.
No marks will be deducted for wrong answers in NAT or MCQ questions.
