GATE COAP Round 1 Offer 2024: IIT Kanpur has released the GATE COAP Round 1 seat allotment result today, May 13, 2024, on the candidates login. Candidates, who have completed registration, the authority has released the round 1 seat allotment result for them. If the candidates are satisfied with the GATE CAP Round 1 offer, then they accept it.
To accept the round 1 offer, the candidates should enter the login credentials, such as the User ID and password. Candidates will get two days to accept the allotment and confirm the same. The last date for accepting the GATE COAP round 1 offer is May 15, 2024 (till 9 AM). The candidates, who will not be satisfied with the round 1 seat allotment result, can participate in the round 2 process (which will start on May 20, 2024). Note, that there will be a total of five rounds of counselling, which will end on June 10, 2024.

Candidates can check out the following options here, the candidates can choose any of these three options after releasing the GATE COAP Round 1 offer.
Option 1: Accept and Freeze
If the candidates click the “Accept and Freeze” option, then they should choose the submit button and confirm the decision. Also, the candidates should check the admission portal of the Academic Institute’s Admission Portal or the PSU’s job portal.
Option 2: Retain and Wait
If the candidates have partial acceptance of the round 1 seat allotment result and want to participate in the next round of counselling to upgrade their allotment, they should select this option. For the same, the round 1 offer will not be rejected.
Option 3: Reject and Wait
If the candidates are not satisfied with the allotment and do not want to accept the offer, then they should reject the option and wait for the next round
