GATE Electrical Engineering (EE) Expected Cutoff 2023

GATE 2023 exam is going to be held from 4th to 12th January 2023.  Candidates who score equal to or more than the cutoff marks for each subject will be able to get admission into their preferred course.

GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be held between the 4th and 12th of February 2023. The cutoff for this year will be released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur after the results are announced. The cutoff will be released on the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in. Candidates who score equal to or more than the cutoff marks for each subject will be able to get admission into their preferred course. The cutoff marks will differ for all 29 subjects. The cutoff will also vary for reserved and unreserved category candidates. 

Those who score more than the minimum required marks will be admitted into the participating colleges for various M.Tech courses. Candidates must be aware of the two different cutoffs released by the authorities- qualifying and admission cutoffs. The qualifying exam is the minimum marks required to qualify the exam whereas, through the admission cutoff, candidates will get admission into their preferred course.

GATE Electrical Engineering (EE): 2023 Expected Cutoff

From 2020 to 2021, the cutoff for Electrical Engineering was decreased and has been on the same line in 2022 as well. So, we can expect the cutoff to be around 30- 32 marks this year for general category candidates. Check the table below for the expected cutoff of each category-
