GATE Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC) exam is scheduled to be held on 5th February 2023, in the afternoon session, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. This year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will conduct the GATE examination. The result and cutoff will also be released by IIT Kanpur on their official website- gate.iitk.ac.in. The cutoff will be released in a pdf format for all 29 subjects. The candidates must understand that the cutoff for thte reserved and unreserved categories will vary. 

Candidates must attend the minimum qualifying marks in order to get admission into their preferred M.Tech courses. The admission cutoff will be released separately by the participating institutes. The cutoff will release on the basis of the number of applications, students appearing for the exam, level of institutes, and more.
