GATE Mechanical Engineering (ME) Cutoff 2023: Check Expected & Previous Years Cutoff
GATE 2023 exam will take place from 4th to 12th January and candidates must check the expected cutoff for this year. To check the cutoff for this year, candidates will have to visit the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in.
GATE 2023 exam will be conducted on 4th February in the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and the qualifying cutoff will also be released by the same. However, the admission cutoff will be released by participating institutes on their official website. Cutoff basically means the minimum marks required to score upon which candidates will be eligible for admission into any master's degree courses.
The cutoff marks differ for different category candidates. Various factors determine the cutoff marks each year such as the total number of applications, the number of students who appeared for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, the previous year's cutoff trend, and the level of the institute.
