GCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria Released: Check what Examiner Head has to say

The Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2022 application process started yesterday, May 23, 2022. The registration process has been started based on the directions from the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). All the aspiring candidates who are interested in applying for the exam can register online at goacet.in.

Inputs regarding the eligibility requirements to appear for the exam have been shared by the Examiner Head, Mr. Pradeep. They are as follows:
- Nationality: Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is a state-level examination that is only applicable to the citizens of India. Citizens of any other country cannot appear for the GCET exam. This exam caters to the residents of Goa mainly. Only if there are enough vacant seats can candidates from outside Goa be sure to get a chance to avail of them.
- Age: As far as the age is concerned, the candidates who are applying for the Engineering or Architectural courses under GCET 2022 do not have any upper or lower age limit to consider. For the ones who are applying for the medical courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing, the minimum age limit is 17 years of age by December 31, 2022.
- Qualifications:To apply for GCET 2022, a candidate must have cleared or must be appearing for 10+2 from a recognized board of education and a recognized institution with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
