About Genesis Engineering College: Shri Samarth Education and Research Foundation was formed in the year 2011 by group of likeminded professionals from different walks of society with a view to impart quality education in engineering. The foundation is headed by Mr. D M Shinde, an agriculturist by profession, and an academician by nature. Shinde believes that the budding engineers must be provided exposure to the ground realities of different sections of our society, including ‘bottom of the pyramid’, and these engineers need to be equipped with tools for solving real-life problems. The Chairman is supported by the secretary of the trust, who is himself an engineering postgraduate and having more than 20 years of industrial and academic experience. The executive team comprises academicians and professionals having doctoral and postgraduate degrees in their respective fields of expertise, with an average of 25 years experience in academia and profession.
