George Pharmacy Launched Pharma-Co Vigilance Training
George College of Pharmacy launched training on Pharma-Co Vigilance on 16-May-2016. The final year B.Pharmacy students of the college will be trained
George College of Pharmacy launched training on Pharma-Co Vigilance on 16-May-2016. The final year B.Pharmacy students of the college will be trained under this program. The training session was launched by the College Principal, Dr. SK Prasad. Official of Med Safe organization K. Subhash trained the students on the first day.
Addressing the students in the inaugural session he said that “There are lots of employment opportunities in Pharma-co Vigilance. Most of the pharmacy students think that there are more employment opportunities in Pharmacy companies. But students have to explore various employment opportunities in the concerned field. The college management is appreciable for organizing these training classes”.
College principal said, “The training classes will be held for a period of 15 days in which students are trained under various aspects of pharma-co Vigilance. Recourse persons from various universities will train the students. Med Safe organization will supervise the training program”.
On the first day, students were told about the positive effects and side effects of various medicines. Students were also trained in Body language, communication skills and preparing resume which are very essential when a student attend an interview.
The inaugural session was attended by the College Director, Sateesh, faculty of the college and others.
