GGSIPU CET 2020: Application Deadline Extended

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) located in Delhi NCR has further extended the application deadline for IPU CET 2020 till August 11, 2020. Initially, the date was extended from 1st April 2020 to 5th May 2020 which was further pushed ahead to 25th May 2020 and then to 30th June and later to 31st July. According to a notification, the university has also postponed IPU CET 2020 in view of the Coronavirus outbreak and nationwide lockdown. The dates for the exam will be announced by the university soon. The dates for editing the application form of IPU CET 2020 have also been extended.

IPU CET 2020 is conducted for admission to various courses like Nursing, MBA, Arts, Sciences, English, Economics, Mass Communication, Psychology, Computer Applications etc.

The IPU CET 2020 process for various courses began from 3rd March 2020 and shall go on till August 11, 2020.

IPU CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for all the IPU courses for which selection will be done on the basis of CET 2020 have been given below:

Courses

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech

  • Candidates must be 12th passed/appearing with at least 55% of aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Candidate must have passed English, individually in the qualifying exam.

BCA

  • Candidates must be 12th passed with English and Mathematics or Computer Science/Informatics Practice/Computer Applications/Multimedia & Web Technology/Data Management Application/Web Application securing not less than 50% marks.

or

  • Candidates possessing Diploma in engineering with 50% marks.

or

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks and 12th with Mathematics and English.

B.Tech (Bio-Technology)

  • Candidates must be 12th passed/appearing from the recognized board.
  • Candidates must have also scored 55% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Biotechnology and must have passed in English subject as well.

B.A.LL.B./BB.A.LL.B.

  • Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board by securing 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates must pass English in the qualifying exam.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

  • Candidates holding 3-years Diploma or B.Sc degree with Mathematics are eligible to apply for this course.
  • Minimum must have scored 60% marks.

M.Tech

  • B.E./B.Tech (in respective discipline or Pass Grad. IETE/AMIE, or Pass M.Sc and MCA by securing 60% marks.

LL.B

  • Passed Graduation in any stream with not less than 50% marks.

BBA

  • 12th or its equivalent exam with English subject by obtaining at least 50% marks.

MCA

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or BCA with at least 50% of aggregate marks.

LL.M

  • Candidates should have passed LLB degree from a BCI recognized institution with not less than 50% marks.

MBA and Allied Courses

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks.
