GGSIPU Likely to Scrap Entrance Test for Six Courses
GGSIPU is planning to scrap IPUCET for three UG and three PG courses. The GGSIPU admission process for these courses will be based on national-level entrance tests.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is likely to scrap IPUCET (Common Entrance Test) for six courses. Instead, GGSIPU is planning to accept the national-level entrance test score for these six courses. The varsity issued official circular conforming changes in the GGSIPU admission procedure for the academic session 2019-20. The online application process for IPUCET 2019 will begin in the first week of March, and the varsity will also release the GGSIPU admission brochure 2019.
GGSIPU Proposed Courses for Scrapping IPUCET-Based Admission Procedure
According to sources, GGSIPU is planning to scrap the IPUCET-based admission procedure for following courses –

The score of the candidates in the above exams is expected to be considered for admissions in these six courses. The official details regarding the same will be specified in the GGSIPU admission brochure 2019-20.
For all UG Medical and Ayurvedic courses, GGSIPU accepts NEET-UG score for admissions. On the other hand, the NATA score is considered for B.Arch admissions.
Every year, GGSIPU conducts IPUCET exam in April and May. The varsity will release an official schedule for course wise IPUCET entrance exam. Apart from the above courses, the admissions for all other courses will be based on IPUCET.

Students aspiring to secure admission in GGSIPU and its affiliated colleges must wait a few more days for the official notification and online application filling.
