Goa University 30th Convocation: Prez Kovind to Address Gathering
- Goa University will hold its 30th convocation ceremony on February 24, 2018.

The 30th convocation ceremony of Goa University is scheduled to take place on February 24, 2018. The officials of the university confirmed that President of India, Shri. Ram Nath Kovind shall deliver the convocation address. It will be his first visit to Goa after assuming change as President.
In 2017, former President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee attended the annual convocation ceremony and addressed the graduating students.
Ph.D. graduates of Goa University who have passed on or after April 22, 2017, will be awarded degrees during the 30th convocation ceremony. These candidates will have to complete the convocation registration form on the official website to receive the degree. While registering for the 30th convocation, students will have to upload the scanned copy of their photograph and letter of course completion from Controller of Examinations, Goa University. Applicants will have to pay Rs. 2,000 towards convocation fee. The fee payment can be done in the online mode. Take the printout of proof of payment that must be submitted at the Examination Section for obtaining the degree.

Recently, Goa University has announced admissions for Diploma of Proficiency in Portuguese course. The total intake of the course is 25. March 01, 2018, is the deadline to submit the online application for this job-oriented course. The course will have 100 hours of teaching divided into two modules. Module I is expected to begin from March 05, 2018.
