Golden Jubilee Celebrations of IGMC, Shimla to Conclude on October 10
On this occasion, ‘Shusrutha' a college magazine will be launched.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla will conclude on October 10, 2016. It is the first medical college in Himachal Pradesh. The valedictory ceremony of the celebrations will be attended by the Vice President of India, Hamid Ansari and Virabhadra Singh, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

IGMC has celebrated the Golden Jubilee in a grand manner by organising workshops, inviting guest lecturers, cultural and social events and conferences throughout the year.
Dr. Ashok Sharma, Principal of IGMC, said that luminaries of IGMC who brought laurels to the country through their dedicated services would be felicitated on the valedictory ceremony. On this occasion, ‘Shusrutha' a college magazine will be launched.

The alumni of the Institute and professors from the various universities will deliver lectures on the occasion followed by an alumni meet and cultural programmes.
